ABOUT
Dawgs follows the main character, Charlie, as he navigates life in San Francisco. Their world is similar to ours, except every person is a dog. Dawgs balances everyday life’s humor while also throwing in comedy related to how they’re all dogs.
MY PROCESS
Each comic begins as a note in my phone. I type out each sentence that would be in the comic and divide it into how much I would put in each panel. Then, I open up my sketchbook and create the panel shapes using my notes. Then, I sketch out the comic fully, writing out all dialogue. Finally, I take a picture and bring it into Procreate, where I make any last minute edits and fully render the comic.
